I’m Destiny Phillip. As an artist, mom, and Army spouse, I dreamed of creating a welcoming space where people of all ages could gather, create, and celebrate.
My husband and I purchased this commercial property in 2021 and opened Joyful Studio in 2022. Since then, it has grown from a family-friendly paint studio into a creative arts space serving families and organizations throughout Southern Maryland through birthday parties, Parent & Me Paint Dates, creative wellness workshops, expressive arts experiences, and event space rentals.
As a family-owned business, we are grateful for every person, family, and organization that chooses to create with us. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, participating in a workshop, or gathering with your group, we’re honored to be part of your creative journey.
